As a Handyman, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks on residential and commercial properties in the local area. The successful candidate will have experience in a similar role, be able to work independently, have their own tools and tansport
Responsibilities:
• Perform repairs and maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general handyman duties.
• Install and repair appliances, fixtures, and equipment.
• Respond to emergency repair requests.
• Complete routine maintenance tasks such as painting, cleaning, and landscaping.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good condition.
• Follow safety procedures and use protective equipment as necessary.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members.
• Meet high standards of workmanship and customer service.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a handyman, with a focus on quality workmanship and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, manage your own workload and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Must have your own tools and a valid driving license.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in confined spaces.
• Must be punctual and reliable.
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet.
• Must have a good understanding of health and safety procedures.
