INTERNATIONAL FITNESS EVENT COMES TO LONDON

A weekend packed full of entertainment and outstanding displays of skill, endurance, talent and showmanship as multi-sport events converge at the ExCeL centre in London on 19 – 20 March 2011.

This event promises the world’s first ever amateur Mr Olympia competition, unmissable BMX and skateboarding displays as the UK’s only professional team perform their spectacular supersize halfpipe show, body popping courtesy of Britain’s Got Talent Sensation Aidan Davis, a world record attempt by Richard Vint in the World Gym Challenge and Fitness Model search with Men’s Health cover star Kirk Miller.

As well as super-human displays of strength in the Giants Live Strongman Grand Prix, to be screened around the world, there is plenty for those who simply have a keen interest in healthy living. Fitness and nutrition stands from the biggest names in the industry and a range of seminars conducted by leading experts provide all the information you need to either kick start that health regime or for those who take their physical fitness more seriously.

Top Mixed Martial Arts fighters will be competing in tournaments and displaying martial arts weapon demonstrations and Powerlifting champion Chris Jenkins will be attempting to break world records.

Fresh from his success at the Arnold Classic, Branch Warren will feature in the IFBB Professional Bodybuilding British Grand Prix as he battles it out with top British pros like Flex Lewis and Shaun Joseph-Tavernier.

The other events that we are featuring at the Fitness Expo will make a fantastic weekend for all the family. We’re proud that the event is being supported by some of the industry’s top names, and the fact that we’re holding the first ever Amateur Olympia in London really shows how serious this event is going to be.”

The event is open 10-5 on Saturday and 10-4 on Sunday. Tickets £25 per day or £40 for a weekend pass. Children under 12 free with a paying adult.
